Biomedical Advances of Autism Meeting on 8-18-13
American Chinese Medical Exchange Society (ACMES) will hold its third conference of “Biomedical Advances of Autism” at Harvard Medical School on August 18th, 8am to 5:30pm. This will serve as a great opportunity to learn and exchange ideas for Autism clinicians, researchers, psychologists, educators and parents.
You will hear from top autism expert Christopher J McDougle, MD, Director of Lurie Center for Autism at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Nancy Lurie Marks Professor at Harvard Medical School to deliver keynote speech in the morning followed by Dr. Valerie Hu, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and you will hear from Dr. Martha Herbert about her new book: “Autism revolution” and have her signage, and Dr.Louisa Silva, Visiting Professor, Teaching Research Institute, Western Oregon University will talk about Qi Gong massage therapy for autism, you will also receive the newly published special issue of autism from “North American Journal of Medicine &Science” including 10 top level peer review autism articles written by autism experts.
The conference will include three major panels: “Research and renovation” “Alternative treatment for autism” “Evidence based treatment for autism”, cover the newest treatment methodology and research findings from basic research, epidemiology and clinical trials, treatment strategies and brain-gut connections.
