Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is disorders of brain development with difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors. The default mode network (DMN) dysregulation has been found in ASD children. Acupuncture stimulation can alter DMN activations and deactivations.
